Okay, folks, here is the tentative plan, assuming it isn't 40 degrees and pouring rain...
Saturday, October 27th
Lexington, TN (Dairy Queen)
10AM
This location seems to be pretty central for most folks that have expressed interest. Depending on what route you take, the roads will be curvy or straight.
I chose Dairy Queen because it is right next door to Burger King, and there is a McDonald's and Taco Bell within walking distance if DQ isn't your thing.
For anyone coming from Memphis and the surrounding areas, I'd be happy to meet up with you in Jackson at Love's Travel Stop, 2050 Hwy 70 E (exit 87 off of I-40) and then cruise over to Lexington via the curvy road, Route 104. If you are interested in doing this, plan to meet at Love's at 9AM. Also, if you plan to meet me, please PM me so I can provide you with my number in case something prevents me from making it or delays me.

This weekend! Cool...let me see if I can make it!
Honestly...I don't want to make the two hour drive if I am the only one showing up.
Can we get confirmation of those who will be there?

I would think we'd need a solid turnout for it to be worth the drive for any of us if it is just a "hi, how do you do?" between three people and then we drive home.
So, IF there is more than...I dunno...5+ other cars...I should be able to make it.
BTW...thanks, Bibbster for putting this together.

Yeah, I guess so. I'm fine with cancelling since I have had zero replies to the PM I sent, and you and Andy are the only two that confirmed. They say three is a crowd, but in this case, three doesn't seem worth the time. No offense of course.

I took my son camping to Linden, TN last weekend and the leaves were just starting to turn. If the sun will come out tomorrow, I may just drive back over that way and do some backroad driving and look at nature. Should be a pretty good day for it. Haven't been for a nice, long afternoon drive in a while to clear the mind.
I too would look forward to a meeting in the Spring. Thanks for your efforts in trying to put this together.
