Hey guys and gals! There have been several folks importing C6 'Vettes into the West TN area the past couple of months, so I thought it might be fun to have a meet and greet to hang out and talk 'Vettes and such. That's all the thought I have put into it at this point, so if there is enough interest, we can pick a place to meet, as well as a date, and hang out for a bit.

So, reply here with your interest in attending, and your location (nearest large city is fine, or specific too) and we'll try to pick a central spot. I'll go first I reckon...

Come up to Nashville for the Nashville Corvette Club car show on Sat. SEPT. 15 at the Tennessee Baptist Childrens Home in nearby Brentwood, TN. Lots of nice cars in addition to the Corvettes. Lots of other stuff to do in Nashville including The Lane Motor Museum... a must see for car guys.

Hey gang! So far, our two locations that folks would be traveling from (furthest west and east) are Memphis and Nashville. Here is a website I use to plan trips. Feel free to check it out and make any suggestions. Ideally the meeting place would be near a family friendly place to grab a bite to eat and hang out for a bit.

I'm leaning toward a date that is a bit cooler, but that will be a couple months away. Hopefully that isn't a big deal for everyone? Figured with decent temps that would give us more places to choose from to hang out for a while without having a heat stroke.

I haven't forgotten about this. The weather has been very back and forth as you all know. That being the case, it may be October before we get temps and humidity consistently below 90/90%.

Man...that's the truth. Son and I went to a small car show this past Saturday and it was brutally hot. All the cars were out in the parking area (asphalt). Alll the owners were under the patio of the Chevy dealership here in town. Couldn't talk to anybody about their cars unfortunately. Only could tolerate about 30-40 minutes and I call it quits.

Definitely would look forward to meeting up with some local folks. Always good to share information/tips etc.
