Default Who has gotten the Magnetic Ride Update in Nashville?

I just got off the phone with the service advisor from Freeland Chevy in Nashville, and he stated that effective October 22, the Mag Ride Update has went up in price.. Is that true??? He told me grand total would be $525. Is he trying to pull a fast one on me or is what he's stating true?
$525 is just not worth it to me.

Please advise.

Had mine done originally at CARL BLACK Chevrolet. Chris Madison was the Service Advisor. Paid $350.

My GS was "recalled" for the correct upgrade several months later, and the selling dealer SERRA CHEVROLET did the recalibration. My service advisor there is "no expert", so you might ask for Greg McNeil or if you can get through to Ed Zehnder, the Service Manager if you need to.

Very pleased with the results, which were noticeable both times, but the ride in TOUR is greatly improved after second update was done at SERRA.

My dealer told me it was 350 plus 100 labor and I am in contact with another dealer at present to try and get the 350 price. Glad to hear it is worth it on the ride aspect.

My local dealer charged me the $350 plus $100 labor. I verified with another local dealer that they also charge the $450 price. I figured it was a California thing.

BTW it is totally worth the price.

Well considering the update should be free...... 350 is the most I'm willing to pay. Lol

I'll find out in two weeks the cost in Knoxville. Reader there sells quite a few corvettes and has a very big corvette club.
It is suppose to be 350 including the install according to the tech builtin.

Wondering if that over time, the $350 prevailing rate may lessen. I can live with the bumpy ride for the time being. 2017 MagRide here.

I had the software update completed in Knoxville. It should only be $350 per the GM document. I had to take the issue up the ladder at the dealership as they tried to charge the extra $100 for the software upgrade. I felt it was worth the money after it was installed as it did make improvements.

Default Mag Rude Update

Had it done to my new to me 15 Z51 by the selling dealer $350 plus tax in Albany, NY. Chris M at Denooyer Chev handled the whole thing including research.

Can't believe GM is gouging their customers in this plug and play update. Their Premium sports car and they develop what they called the "proper calibrations" for the C7 mag ride after the fact, and then they barely put it out there and charge $350 (or more) to install it. I don't get it.

I’ll vouch for Greg NcNeil, grew up with him and he’s probably the best service advisor in the business, any brand of car. I’m in the business and I’ll tell you that. He’s also a LS guy, currently tinkering with a Trailblazer SS.

Why not ask for some quotes. As I stated in an earlier post mine was $350 plus tax in Albany, NY from Denooyer Chevrolet. Worth the money my Z51 rides great.
