last year the wife and I went, It was a nice event. I planned on going this year as well but the wife said we have so many things going on. She may not want to go and said for me to go by myself. I wont do that. So we will see what happens.

It’s pretty cool to see all those Corvettes driving down the road by generation, I have done it every year since I’ve had my vette (except the years it was in the shop for repairs) It is one of the few events my wife will go to related to cars because it’s for a good cause. That said if she doesn’t want to go, I will load up the pup, she is always happy to go.

It's a drive for me, also. Not 3 hours, but worth it, IMO. The cars meet at the Eckler's facility and are parked according to generation. There's a quick driver meeting right before the "run", which is precisely at 2. The cars depart one generation at a time, and are police-escorted to the restaurant for the toy and food drop-off. Very well organized. There's a luncheon at the restaurant, I think. There's a # on the flyer for more info. Try to make it.

I will be taking her out of the cobwebs & heading there Saturday. Bring a camera!!!, a toy, &/ or canned foods, or all of the above. Its a unique run. I went 2 years ago. The Police escorted & blocked intersections so we could travel as a group. Just keep up & don't leave gaps as others will jump in front of you from the side streets & F things up. The run across the bridge was interesting as all you could see for miles was a string of corvettes crossing it, probably can see it from space. BTW Fish lips is a good restaurant also!
