Default F/S ; Callaway Honker for SD pickup

Well, I got in on the Honker group purchase last December. I have been way lazy and haven't installed it yet..... luckily

I just read on another thread, from Callaway, that their EO for CARB compliance covers the '97-'00 and '01-'04 Corvettes but does NOT include the '01-'04 Z06....

i had a prior experience with mods that weren't CARB compliant, and quite frankly, I just don't want the hassle so..

I have a Callaway Honker for a '01-'04 Corvette, in the box (box slightly crunched in shipping but contents OK), that I will sell for $400.00.

I will sell for Cash with a San Diego pick-up (I'll meet as far north as Carlsbad/Oceanside area). Don't want shipping/paypal hassles..

I check the forum once a day...

Keep it...they'll try and have it CARB approved soon.

Install it. You're not due for a smog check until 2010 .

Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware they were working on getting it approved.

I will hold onto it while I contact Callaway about pending approval.

As for just installing it until 2010, tempting but....... been there, done that... just don't want the hassles

I'll repost it for sale if the approval isn't pending......

I just e-mailed our Engineering Director to find out exactly where the C5 Z06 Honker exemption application ranks, compared to the other CARB applications submitted and those planned. I'll post Monday or Tuesday to let you know. Thanks.

I just serviced my filter.....

Everytime I look at the Honker I am more impressed by its form and function

If you don't use it someone is going to get a good deal on the best CAI available.

Thank you for checking....

Does that mean I will eventually need a different decal?
