connell chevrolet in cm priced out a set of mich ps2 zp(s) for $1.9K balanced, mounted and 4 wheel alignment. $250 for mount, bal and align & the balance for the tires. i've got an 06 w/z51 package. replaced the supercars a while back w/the firestones but the car did not feel the same.. tires lasted 4ever. price seems fine compared with tirerack - actually better due to the $75 delivery + tax. any opinions on the ps2 zp? i was tempted to go back with the supercars but just curious before i "pull the trigger." thanks in advance
I've purchased PS2's for my '02 - 295*35*18 and 305*30*19 for $1,200 out the door (shop is in Garden Grove). If you're interested I can provide a contact. Can't guarantee the same price since it was over about 9 months ago but it might be worth the call.
I paid about $1600 OTD for PS2's in stock C5Z sizes at America's Tire in Laguna Niguel...and then paid about $135 for a 4 wheel alignment at Clark's Suspension in Lake Forrest. Connell's price seems "fair", but when I think tires, the dealer is the last place that comes to mind. Shop around IMO.
I can also vouch for Tucker. I've been going to them since I started driving in 1988! I live a little far from them now but every once in awhile I will pop in to say hi. There always slammed and there customer retention is through the roof!
Thanks everybody... I know about Tucker so I'm going to give them a call... Connell was recommended here on the forum but i'm having doubts about them... once they told me i needed a new clutch job when all that was required was fluid and this last time, because the radiator fluid was low, they "advised" me that I needed a new waterpump.. car has a little over 52.5K miles and the waterpump was replaced under warranty at about 20K miles.. gotta find somebody honest to work on it. Thanks again

Connell is a great dealership for service but not for retail sales on ancillary items...
