2011 Z06 for the "Win" detailed
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Mike (colanut) from this forum after he had the awesome luck of winning a brand new 2011 Z06 from the Bowling Green Factory in the monthly drawing they had in March 2011..With only one ticket that he purchased, I could not believe he won this gorgeous Blk/Blk Z06 that was stunning!..
So after we spoke initially he drove down to "Coffee and Cars" in Irvine and along the way he stopped by for me to inspect his vehicles finish after the grueling 2000+ mile drive home from KY. Unfortunatley the factory did not have time to PPF the front of the vehicle to protect it from the debris during the drive.
So my goal here was to detail her out and bring it back to the newest shape possible after the long haul thru rain, dust, dirt and snow and flying debris.....
When we arrived we were happy to see the detailing crew had begun with out us......
Grandpa's Z06 was next............
Before shots of this beast during the inspection
Engine compartment was also dialed up from the road debris
After a thorough prep, this black paint was popping and ready for correction
Out comes the newest arsenal for this job.... Meguiar's MF D/A correction system for some of the more extreme surface defects and RDS
Spectacular results were achieved
LSP setting up after application
After all the correction done and the LSP was removed I applied some Opti Seal...
A couple of my favorite reflection shots
Now for the real truth.....sunlight shows it all!
Thank for viewing ....Have a great day!

If you go to his website his prices are listed. Dave knows his s*it when it comes to paint and what it takes to make it shine. He did the Silver 3 Step Orbital D/A Detail Package @ $350 on my car with out the interior.
Give him a call, Daves a good guy.
