Default July 24th-'Vette Roundup @ The Block of Orange

Hello fellow "BLOCKHEADS!!!"

REMEMBER, THIS IS FOR "ALL 'VETTE YEARS!"

Krispy Kreme
330 The City Drive South or City Blvd. East
Orange, CA 92868
O.C. TBG 799-C4

See you there!

Sparky
Fearless Leader

Pat
Trusted Sidekick

We'll meet at the Block at 8 AM and then head out around 9:30 AM and take our cruise to THE SANTA MONICA PIER!!!

The route will take us out the 22 FWY (W) to the 405 FWY (N) to the 10 FWY (W) to the Santa Monica Pier (TB 671-E2/3). We should arrive around 10:30-11:00 and we'll park on the roof (6-E) overlooking the pier. Parking is good for 3 free hours. I'll have maps to and from for all as usual. We'll have lunch at Bubba Gumps or someplace else on the pier.

Any word on where we are headed?

Should we wash the car, or leave it dirty?

Hey Sparky and guys
I will be there. fun that last weekend up at the VTG run then the Toms Farm run on Sunday.
Just got back from a 22 hour straight run back from Houston, 1583 miles. These newer Vettes can handle that run, the older ones felt like trucks. Catch you in a few weeks.

Well Bill, the first part of your question is in the first post (new destination recorded) and the second is we usually get done with lunch between 1-2. Then we go our separate ways. This info is for all The Blockheads.

See ya then,

Sparky

Hmmm...I'm the only one?!

Well, after 2 years and a $400 ticket on my last run with da Block of Orange at the Aug 2009 run down on Lake Forest Drive (and a lot of personal stuff since then) time to roll on back with the best freewheelin vette guys around. Hope to cya all there, along with some new "shoes"!

Time to saddle up, bridle tight and a MUCH lighter foot!

Really? Usually when "FL" says full tank he's talking Palm Springs.

I get to sleep in Sunday.

What's your ETA for hitting the parking structure?
