Valley Vettes GTG & Cruse July 23
The Valley Vettes crew will be meeting up at the Whole Foods Parking lot at the corner of Tampa and Rinaldi in Porter Ranch on Saturday, July 23 at 9:00 am. The cruse this month will be over some interesting roads taking us through the Santa Monica Mountains to the Pacific Ocean above Malibu. I was told C6 Ray will be the lead dog through the mountains and has a nice lunch spot picked out near the ocean. So all you drivers please show up with a full tank of 91 so we can get started without a gas station stop.

My mistake :o, I was in a hurry and didn't check what I wrote before posting. Correction made to the 23rd. The 24th is reserved for the OC Block Roundup GTG

I met up with C6 Ray at Super Car Sunday today to plan out the Valley Vettes GTG cruse on July 23th. Rocket Man also showed up and assured us he knew all the best roads to take through the Santa Monica Mountains to the sea. So all you drivers this should be a good cruse to highlight on your calendar for July 23th. C6 Ray and myself did take a run up around the Lake Elisabeth area today to checking out possible canyon roads for the August cruse. No date for the August GTG as yet but the cruse will be "spectacular".

A heads up for the August Valley Corvettes GTG. The GTG will be on the 20th. or the 27th. I will be checking with Charlie at RPM Motors and see if he can accommodate the GTG at his shop on one of these two dates. It is always interesting to see the latest go fast projects that are underway in the engine shop and talk with Charlie about something you might be needing for your ride. Also RPM Motors is located very close to some great areas for our August cruse .

Hey Frank! Unfortunately not back from Europe yet, so I'll miss the GTG on the 23rd by a few days, but hope you guys choose the 20th of August for the next one as I'll be out on the 27th as well... Look forward to it if so! Have a good one in Malibu! Say hi to Ray for me! Dave

I'll miss this one too, as I'll be entertaining my folks from out of town that weekend. Hopefully I'll catch up with you guys again in August.

Is this cruise for Valley Vette members only or can anyone tag along?

The welcome mat is out for all Corvettes all years. This is not a Corvette club, just Corvette enthusiast that like to get together to share our passion for the Corvette. I actually live in San Pedro / Wilmington and make the 40+ mile drive to the GTG. The Valley GTG is actually two parts, the social gathering starting at 9:00 AM for about one hour and then for those who like to drive and scrub a little rubber off your tires I recommend you join in on the cruse.

The cruise is for anybody that wants to take a drive.
Bring your bicycle if can follow.
We all appreciate any vehicles that come to play.
Frank, should I make maps or require all drivers to have navigators?
OR
Should it be RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG and let's have some fun?
C6 RAY says I'm leading; who wants to burn some rubber?
Rocketman is ready and accounted for, who else is in?

If you have time and could make some maps for the cruse that would be great. C6 Ray told me you know every road over the Santa Monica Mountains and will get us to the Pacific Ocean with a big smile on every drivers face.
