Default Saw a C7 on the 5 tonight

Waved at him and he gave me a dirty look.

Must have HP envy.

At least he didn't rev me. The first C7 I saw I waved at the guy and told him nice car and he revved at me. Luckily I have the HUGE A&A blow off valve so I revved at him back. Must have throw his hair piece off.

I think the wave is going away, at least in SoCal. I very seldom get a return wave, no matter which Vette I'm driving.

Three of the four vettes I've saw recently all waved back. The one that didn't wave back was a C7.

It was a black c7 in the Industry area. I always wave. I even wave at Camaro's. I've had more luck with Camaro guys waving back at me.

Guess he never got the "Owning a corvette" DVD, lol.

I always have other corvette drivers give me the wave. An older gentleman in a yellow C7 caught up and gave me the wave back in october(my first C7 sighting). Most who do wave are in a base vette. Seen only one C6Z06 and 2 ZR1's in the last few months.

I just sold my 2004 trp blk and had to teach the guy about the wave as he was unaware of the custom. Pass along the tradition when you can,,

I'll be the guy in the 2013 427 Vert,,,triple black of course,,,,waving right back at you!!

When I do get to drive my car I always wave at a fellow vette owner regardless of generation.

On that note I saw a White C7 on the 5 here in san diego a week or so ago. I think they're great. Maybe someday ill own one. Ill wait a few years till they work all the bugs out though.

I saw my first C7 (white) in the wild on Christmas Eve at South Coast Plaza & Bristol, and had my window open as he drove by and I stuck my whole arm out and waved and he waved back.

BTW, I see nothing wrong with a nice rev salute to another Vette with the NPP's open.
