Default C5z CMS tuned

So I had Ryne tune my car last week, and could't be happier with the results. The car pulls harder and just feels healthier. I wanted reliability at the track, and good thing I took it in because the car was running lean as crap.

It ended up putting down 383whp/357wtq with just a Blackwing intake, xpipe and SLP loudmout. Everything else is stock, including the headers.

I would highly recommend CMS for all your tunning needs. Ryne, Mike and Javier are great dudes!

Haha nice! What was your baseline? I forgot to ask about mine since I was worried about the.car being lean when it went in

I completely agree with Ryne's tuning ability. He tuned my 02Z with an A&A and I don't have any issues.

Wow...is that SLP intake just a total POS or was the car poorly tuned by someone else before?

i think the car has a weak maf.... outputted frequency is low per amount of airflow its taking in..... if the maf gets swapped to a normal maf it will be pig rich, but for now he is tuned...

Congrats, and thanks for the info!

Curious, what does a typical tune like this cost? What are the potential gains via tuning for a stock C5 w/ Blackwing?

I work in Murrieta, so I'm glad to know there is a quality tuner nearby.

ETA: Read some more online after posting here. Seems the cost probably outweighs the benefits of a tune on a stock C5.

Interesting to see what mine would do. We basically have the same set up. However I have SLP Blackwing intake, Kooks headers, X-pipe, Hi-flow cats and stock Ti exhaust. Everything else is stock for me.

When I can find a cheap 6.0 for my Silverado Im having them flash/tune it. Ryne spends the time to actually communicate even if he knows it may not turn into a job that day. Thats good business
