Weather report says great weather in Palm Springs. Warm, and balmy.

With all good intentions I was going to do the cruise today but alas, went to leave the Block with the group and car wouldn't start. Just clicked. Dang. Dead battery. I live close by and had the wife come over with my jumper cables. Rick stayed back as he was not going on the cruise and gave me a jump. (Thanks, Rick!) Car started up. Headed home and took the battery in to Autozone. Was not even a year old and lived it's life. New battery and car starts fine. Looking forward to next months cruise already.

I haven't had very good luck with the Duralast Batteries from Autozone the last few years. Gone through 3 or 4 between my vette and truck. At least they stand by their warranty.

That's great Doc that it turned out okay...and a BIG SHOUT OUT to Rick for being such a nice and helping friend!!!

Thanks for all that showed and the 8 that went on the cruise. I can't believe I was the only one that had the nerve to drive out to Palm Springs with the top off...I cried "UNCLE" when we almost reached Hwy 111 and it reached 115!!!

Anyway, I'll be posting the beginning of July for our July cruise to parts unknown, except to Pat and I.

Hope to see you then.

Sparky and Pat

I replaced mine last year with an OEM battery and hooked it up to my new battery tender so mine never dies again....I hope!

That was my first roundup. I've been wanting to go since I heard about them last year. Nice bunch of Corvette owners. It won't be my last cruise!

Well, you couldn't have come in a better looking 'vette...as we used to say in 'Nam, "Same, same me"!

Hope you can join us for another exciting brain numbing cruise to parts unknown in July...not as far out the 'Springs...but somewhere near GRAPES!

See ya then.

Sucks to be me! NOT

And... nothing 'fuzzy' in the canyon, unlike last month.
