Default Corvettes And Military Aircraft

On June 11th, the Pomona Valley Corvette Association caravanned down to the March Field Air Museum in Riverside California. This was a special trip because we were going to be permitted to take pictures of our Corvettes, next to the various military aircraft there. I chose to pose my 69 Corvette with the F-101 Voodoo. Later we did a group shot of the club Corvettes spread out under the wings of a B-52. The day finished up, with the museum opening the big hanger doors and being able to take pictures with the awesome SR-71. It was great day, with clouds in the sky for better photography, a BBQ and just hanging out with fellow Corvette owners.

Great, Great shots! I was an F4C Phantom pilot in the AF and stationed at March AFB. Some great times! I wish I could have joined you guys. I once hitched a ride on a B52 from March to Udorn AB in Thailand and another B52 back.

There has been talk, of making this photo shoot an annual event. No dates picked out yet, its still in discussion

Great pics! What did it cost PVCA to get those pics taken with the aircraft? A lot of clubs would like to know.

Thanks,

Sparky
