All is not sad though, I will be racing Trans Am up at Portland International Raceway. :-)

Anyone run this Roval course? Kind of wish it was just road course and didn't incorporate the nascar bit lol

I was a bit squeamish about running the ROval way back before I ever ran on it. I had only done the infield course. I actually feel better on the ROval. All the heavy braking on the infield only track is brutal on the pads and the rotors. The ROval much less so, although it is much harder on brakes than tracks like Willow Springs or Buttonwillow.

If you have not run it before I suggest you give it a try. Besides, not too many organizations run just the infield anymore.

BTW - this post if for Buttonwillow and not Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, but I presume you know that and you are just asking related question.

It was a SUPER hot day, track was probably a couple seconds slow, at least ... I was a couple seconds slow too ... getting harder to come of these 12 hour flights and drive .... anyway, here's a couple of my faster laps, fastest ironically on a short yellow flag! (Bill!! )
