Are you looking for engine rebuild or general machine work?

Ya your are really vague with what you are looking for so it is hard to give out a rec here. You need what kind of machining? If it is motor specific then QMP in the valley is great. If you want a sleeved block then look no further than Steve at Racing engine development in Oceanside. He knows more than most about how to sleeve a block properly. He does a lot of blocks for off road racers that punish theirs. He is who I am going to for mine, but he really only does the sleeving and bore. You need to take it someplace else for the finish hone like QMP. My friend sells a lot of finished blocks to Optima series and NASA series racers around the country and he uses QMP only. His motors do not fail either. A few of his are still going strong after 3 seasons of racing without rebuilds and they are owned by shops that are sponsors on here.

QMP is the only place to go in the Valley!

Just basic valve jobs, surface perhaps a guide or liner if it needs.
Familiar with the bigger names prefer someone who does it all himself not farming it out or an hourly guy in a rush.
