My 2009 Dyno Results - PatG Cam and Bolt Ons (Graphs Inside)
Had the Dyno done today at Paragon Engines in Santa Clarita, CA by Auston. Thank you Auston for a fantastic job tuning the Vette and dialing in the cam -
Weather was cool but was humid and drizzling on my way down there.
Edwin and his son Angel did all the installation of the cam and supporting parts here at my home on my lift - thank you Edwin and Angel again for great work.
Vette is a: 2009 4LT LS3 STOCK BLOCK and STOCK HEADS, A6, YANK SS 3200 stall, Z06 3.42 Rear
Previous Dyno with just bolt ons. Things were:
(1) 2012 ZR1 3" exhaust into 2.5" factory Bi-Mode mufflers, with 4 cats
(2) Vararam
(3) NGK TR5IX plugs gapped at .040"
(4) Taylor Wires
(5) Stock TQ Converter
(6) 2.56 Stock Rear
(7) Stock TB
(8) Stock Water Pump
Dyno then was 390 RWHP
Here is list with everything now: things different this time are marked "NEW"
(1) Vararam
(2) VMAX Ported TB - New
(3) NGK TR5IX plugs gapped @ .040” (New plugs)
(4) Stock LS3 Roller Rockers
(5) Pat G Custom Cam, Ground by TSP, 3 Bolt 222/230 .600 116 - New
(6) GM 3 Bolt Cam Timing Sprocket, 4X Reluctor Wheel - New
(7) Rollmaster C7R HD Timing Chain - New
(8) GM LS2 Timing Chain Dampner - New
(9) PAC .660” Dual Valve Springs w/TI Retainers - New
(10) 7.4” Chrome Moly Push Rods - New
(11) Meziere EWP w/Stock 186.8* Thermostat (86* Celsius) - New
(12) ATI Harmonic Balancer – Stock Diameter w/ARP Crank Bolt - New
(13) Melling High Pressure Oil Pump - New
(14) 2012 C6 ZR1 3” Exhaust w/4 Catalytic converters, into factory 2.5” factory Bi-Mode Mufflers
(15) Tranny Cooler, separated from radiator - New
(16) Yank SS3200 Stall Converter - New
(17) Z06 3.42 Rear End Differential - New
Results are:
448.8 RWHP
422.4 RWTQ
