This will be my third time - last year I drove my C6 and my neighbor brought his C5. Driving early in the morning, from Granada Hills to San Diego I only used my brakes once - when getting off the freeway. That was an easy trip down, a great show with tons of 'vettes and a fun drive home. I did not want to pay the $3.00 fee for online registration, so I spent 49 cents (?) to mail in my paperwork. Highly recommend this event.

The show is adjacent to Seaport Village. Easy walk and many food choices there.

I'm registered.. see you all there!

Just in case some of you might have missed this change for the show:

"Check in has been changed to 8:00 a.m.; please do not arrive early".

I usually arrived around 0700 and the front half of the lawn was about full. Not letting cars into the park until 0800 may resemble the same traffic pattern you see when we leave the event so plan accordingly.

Just out of curiosity, is there more of an older crowd & Vette owners at this event than younger people or is it mixed?

I would say its a mixed crowd. While you will find your older groups of guys sitting in a group "generally from a local club", many of those walking around are people shopping at Sea Port Village and happen to walk over and see the show. In terms of ownership age, maybe half are in the 50-70 range.

Ok that's cool. My dad saw this post and had an interest, he uses a Cain from time to time and didn't want to feel rushed to move out the way when walking.
