Default Wildwood Corvette Challenge with Speed Ventures at Buttonwillow on 1/27/18

Who is going? Will be my first time with the new car. Last time was...forever ago.

Also, Spec Corvette races both days. I will be hanging around all weekend with that crowd.

Showing up, mostly to watch the race.

Will Spec Vette get its own grid or are they going to be wedged between the S1 and S2 Super Miatas?

We are in the same race group as SPM. Where we start on the grid is not decided, yet.

... I'm biting my tongue about being there until at least one car is on a trailer ...

But, I'm hoping to show up with the GT2 car since Jim is taking care of the cage on the Spec car.

One car is on the trailer, and the other one may be done with the cage build sometime between Saturday and early next week.

Now, it should just be a matter of whether any garages are open.

I will be there but taking my EVO. Don't have the ***** to take the vette to an open track day.

How does it work with you guys running a competitive event and open track day guys running?

Typically, they'll separate the run group to keep the potential carnage to a minimum.

Oli/John -- is Spec Corvette running at lunchtime, or in place of one of the red groups?

A great Spec Corvette race today, and a ton of fast cars! Will be great to see what tomorrow's race brings!

Was fun watching you guys run. Looked like they were putting you all together with the Miata's and Lotus's. Saw a couple of vipers out there also. Those miata's are friggen loud as hell :O
