Well, you know your eyes are 30 yrs younger than mine, you have crazy horsepower and sticky tires. Lets take your plate off in a couple of weeks and see how fast you really are.

So, even if you don't put a plate on and you go back there, they can't give you another ticket because you paid off the first one and that is the same thing as fixing the problem?
That's the point.

I’m not sure if you’re kidding. If you get a speeding ticket pay it and move on do you think that exempts you from another speeding ticket. Fix it tickets you either fix the infraction and your done or pay the fine and take your chance on not getting caught again. Paying the fine doesn’t exempt me from getting another no plate ticket. I will not be going to Santa Monica anytime soon.

No Hell-A is a much larger bureaucracy. After wading thru over an hour of automated parking bureau telephone BS, then getting kicked out for "wrong tix #" (hell, it was only 47 numbers long), I got more on-hold time, only to wait and hear the citation was for a "brown Buick". When I stated I never owned a brown Buick in my lifetime, they said "prove it".
Years later, I've never found a way to prove I never owned something!
No, I avoid Hell-A county, in-toto.

Assume you are parked in a "loading zone" and a cop comes along and tickets you for the infraction. Can the next cop come along and ticket you, and the next cop, and the next cop, etc. etc., etc., for that same infraction until you move the car?
That would be more equivelent.
Like I said, depending on how the ticket is actually printed, may be one for the lawyers.

The Parking Enforcement Officer is just doing their job and we all know that two plates are required and we take that chance on getting away with it. Sometimes you get caught. Paying the $25 fine is a lot easier than putting the plate on the front? It is a choice!

Because it is against the CC&Rs (Corvette Code of Regulations) to drive around with a front plate on a Corvette and only non-Corvette enthusiasts drive around with a front plate. Just pay the $25 and don't worry about it.

I have a front plate on my 66 C2. However, I picked up a fake California black plate that says "1966" on it at the Pomona swap meet. It actually looks good too. I put it over my real California plate. If I ever get stopped, I am just going to tell the cop that I just came from a show, which might actually be true, and I will take it off when I get home. They will buy into that story.
My friend has a 1946 Fleetline with 1946 plates on it. I want to be with him when he gets stopped for only having one plate. 1946 was the only year that California had only one plate. There was a metal shortage following WWII and only one plate was issued for that year.

So here's the deal. I got the ticket two weeks ago Saturday. On the back the instructions stated pay the $25 fine or the option of fixing the infraction(no front plate) and have signed off by DMV or CHP. For the extra $15 I choose to ignore and I just paid the $25 online and received confirmation fine was paid nothing more to do. Just an inconvenience and money grab for government to squeeze us.
