What Chevy Dealer to Use in SD or IE.
I want to do the MRC update on my 2017 Z06 - what dealer do you use? I'm in North San Diego and have gone to Temecula, Paradise Chevrolet but what to see who you would recommend in San Diego or Inland Empire. Thanks.

I want to have mine done as well. I contacted Paradise in Temecula but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I have used them for several things with good service in the past but I think my favorite Service advisor is no longer there.
PKincy had his done in Escondido.

Thank you for your reply. Maybe I'll go to Escondido. I've used Paradise but they do not seem knowledgeable about the MRC . Basic stuff yes they are good but I had a horrible experience recently that finally got resolved with the Service Manager.

When my flex plate went out, I decided to go down and talk with the folks at Paradise. Even though I purchased my car from Winn, I had to argue with Winn about my splitter as they claimed that they don't come on the car and I needed to purchase it separately so I decided not to go back to them. I went down to Paradise and asked the service rep about the work. He tells me that they have done "hundreds" of them and that they don't have anyone that specifically works on Corvettes as that all of the techs there specialize in Corvettes. On the way out I noticed several Corvettes sitting outside with the windows down covered in dust/dirt/bird crap waiting to be worked on (two of which were C7 Z06s) Needless to say, I did not go back there.
I took my car over to Connell and had them do the work. While I was there, the owner of the dealership came over to my car and asked me what I needed. I told him about my issue and he gave me his card. He told me that if I had any questions, concerns or complaints to call him directly and he would make sure everything was taken care of. It took a little over a week to get the car back and the car did not have so much as a scratch or mark on any of the bodywork so they actually took the time to take car of it. I spoke directly to the tech doing the work and could call him for updates. While my experience may not be the same as others from this location, I will be going back there should I need repairs in the future that I can't handle myself. A bit of a drive for me but it's hard to find a dealership you can trust around here.

Paradise USED to be awesome, I guess. I would always deal directly with Ryan Drumm, a Service Advisor there who was an enthusiast himself and always took primo care of me. The work was always done correctly and the car returned to me in perfect condition.
Guess it's Escondido for me for this upgrade.

Thanks again. Paradise leaves cars outside. They also chipped and gouged my wheel when doing a tire install then tried to pass it off. I noticed it as soon as I got home and called them. They also broke the TPMS while doing the install. It was a mess until the Service Manager made it right. Also installed my stage 2 winglets backwards. They are conveniently close but I have lost confidence in them. I'll Google Connell and Escondido .

Safety Car
Elliot, I used Quality Chevrolet in Escondido. SA was Wes Parkhurst. Good guy and lives up your way. Took about 2.5 hours but I also had a recall for a trunk DIC warning that needed to be done. It also was a computer download. I did it on a Monday and Wes said that is the slowest days for any download from the GM servers, so any other day would be better.

I'm done with Jimmy Johnson also. They had my car for 6 weeks trying to get me to authorize charges for them guessing what was wrong with my car. In the end they just charged me for a battery replacement (which they said was good on day one). They recently told my Ex that she needed $3000 of work done to her fairly new Chevy Cruze. She took the car to my local mechanic to verify and there was absolutely nothing wrong with her car.
