Default Ran 201.4 MPH at the Mojave Magnum mile in my "Other car" {short Video}

It was a bitter sweet day that got cut short at the Mojave Magnum Mile.

I was able to make 2 passes before the poor soul on a new supercharged Ninja went off the end of the runway at over 200 MPH, he did not survive...

He lined up next to me, and went right after my run, I've got some faint video of him going down the runway as I'm getting my time slip on the taxiway...I reviewed some rear camera video, and you can see him helping me with my Hans on a rear camera view, I really felt bad for him and his family/friends...

The event was shut down after the crash, which happened right around 10:00 AM. I was lucky enough to get two passes in, see below...The car ran GREAT!

Forgive my ignorance, but...if you launched around 5 seconds and let off at approximately 43 seconds, it took 38 seconds to travel 1 mile?

200+ MPH! Congrats!

I drove out to see Big Red Camaro. My uncle is the engine builder. I didn't have the required wristband and got denied entry. I got hold of my uncle and he told me about the incident. Prayers for the rider's loved ones.

I'll look for you next time I go.

I was out there on Sunday. They let us run after a long safety lecture. Did they run on Saturday after the wreck or were you done?

I drove my wife's '18 stock auto Z06. Here is a video. (I broke out)

Nice pass!! No, once the guy crashed on his bike, the day of racing ended...
The investigation probably took most of the day, and the crash happened at 10:00. By noon, he held a meeting telling us that they would prorate our next event or we could stay and race Sunday, but that the day was done...
