Default Auto Club Speedway - May 5th

Anyone headed to ACS on May 5th with Speed Ventures? I'll be out there, it'll be a nice change of pace from Willow Springs and Streets of Willow

I should be out there with the Spec Corvette to race.

I might be testing the rebuilt GT2 Corvette as well.

I'll look for you guys. Oli will be easy to spot I definitely want to check out the Spec Corvette. I could see heading down that path in the next year or so.

Nitro, what will you be in?

Any of you guys running a Sparco Evo or similar seat? If so, can I beg a few minutes of your time to sit in it between sessions? I'm seat shopping but really want to at least sit in a couple to see how they fit.

Unfortunately I have yet to find a shop in my area (Beverly Hills / Miracle Mile area) that has seats in stock.

Not in you backyard, but I know Winding Road Racing in Fountain Valley has several race seats in stock. Don't recall exactly what, but I sat in one to see how the race suit I was buying felt in a seated position.

And I will be at Fontana on Saturday in the red group.

When you see a guy trundle over wearing glasses, that's all 175 lbs of me

I'll be running Red as well. I'm trying out new suspension parts so I'll be pretty conservative. Winding Road is a 50+ mile drive....but it beats risking the need to try and return something as large as a seat.

Looking to play on Saturday and test the balance of my car without the APR-500 wing. I have never run ACS without the wing.

As mentioned above, Winding road racing has a good selection. Also while you are in the area Sube Sports has a good selection of Cobra seats and is only a few miles away. You can also visit Sparco USA which is only a little further down the 405.

Wanted to be there, but the car is going on the dyno for a tune either Thursday or Friday, so it'll need some street miles to see how it's behaving first.

Had a good time and the new Dewitts radiator worked as advertised.

Oli, walked over a couple times but you weren’t around, maybe next time. Btw...I was the guy in the black Grand Sport running with you for a while during the last Red session.
