Default Valley GTG: Saturday, July 14th - 9am

Same deal as always, we'll meet in the Whole Foods parking lot at Tampa and Rinaldi in Porter Ranch, and head out by 10am to cruise to lunch.

Who's in?

Wish I was in. They don't cruise here in Florida.

It's probably for the best... they barely have hills out there, let alone mountains or canyons!

We have a handful of favorite spots... all of which tend to be a bit more low-key than Hooters.

Nice little meet today. 7 cars showed up, and 6 of us cruised up to Newcomb's Ranch for brunch.

Lew, I disagree. We both have guys and gals, the same 'vettes and the same enthusiasm as all 'vette owners. The thing that is different between us is...all your cruising is close by, ours is over an hour and a half to get anywhere out of the O.C.. We are land locked, but we do have a nice course through Santiago Canyon...and that's it.

Oh, and your GTG is on Saturday and ours is on a Sunday.

So, what it comes down to is..if you live close to the L.A. area...yours is the place to go...if you live in the O.C area....we welcome you with open arms!!!

What is odd is that are numbers are getting smaller for the attendance at our GTGers. What, 7 show at your GTG and 6 go on the cruise? Today, 15 showed and 8 go on the cruise..almost just as bad!

I remember when we had over 95 'vettes showed up in 2006 at The Block of Orange!!!...Crazy, huh?

I want to thank RAUL from the Valley! Him and sometimes Naomi, his wife, drive all the way to Block of Orange to drive with us on our cruise.

Anyway, we're both hoping that more 'vette owners find and read the Corvette Forum (So Cal Section) and find out about TWO wonderful get togethers that are being offered to them...

Fingers crossed and hoping for multitudes of 'vette owners to overrun our GTGers!!!
