Default Tranny Slipping

The auto transmission in my 98 is slipping. Does anyone know of a good transmission repair shop? Prefer something in the central coast region (SLO to SB) but willing to go up to San Jose or down to Oxnard/Ventura.

You might try changing the tranny fluid and filter. My 98 started slipping also, I did a fluid & filter change and it ran great.

Google TRC trans in Chatsworth, ask for Ron.
Hes a car guy, racer builds one hell of a trans and stands behind it. No vette tax either.

Doubt a fix in a can will cure your woes but found on GM OD trans (on Rons advice) is to powerflush it then add a bottle of Lucas Non slip. It keeps those Solenoids from sticking...these are notororious for it. Mine started acting funny like a bad torque converter 2 yrs ago, symptoms gone ever since. Most that stuff is snake oil, but that stuff plain works.
