You should come up to Spring Mountain next month. You can drive as fast as you want safely.

C3 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019

Saturday the 10th, Vettes for Veterans is tomorrow, pretty much the whole day. The old Carlsbad mall (78 and El Camino Real) will be littered with all years. If you ever wanted a San Diego Corvette meet-up, this is it. Even if your not entered, drive up and have a walk around. My '63 will be there and it won't even be the only fuel injected SWC. Its free to walk around and the Draft House is close enough to provide a secondary excuse to haul yourself and a mate up there. My car is silver, if you see an old guy sitting behind it, stop by and say hello--of course, I may be somewhere in the Draft House slaking my thirst but you can still see a bunch of beautiful cars. See ya...

Have fun Steve.. it's a great event, and for a great cause. I've done it a few times.
Sorry to miss it this year, but the SACC (solid axle corvette club) booked our tech session for the same say (up in LA).
Several of us tried to persuade them to move the date... but no luck.
So you may be missing some solid axle cars from the event this year.
Next year!

Oh???

I have been trying to get something going for some time now, but no one is ever down to meet. Life happens and we all have things to do of course. I guess it has to fall on a day where everyone has nothing else to do I was bored yesterday and roamed the streets in my c5 for a good 2 hours. When I had my gto's I use to set up a meet every other Saturday morning in Grantville, over by the Starbucks and Body Beautiful car wash. Then we would all run up the 94 and do a spirited canyon run, we would be about 10+ gtos deep. Then once a month we would set up a Friday night meet at the same place and cruise SD. Good times.

It depends upon what you want to have done. I've used the Corvette Shop, Excelsior Motorsports and Certified Car Clinic, all with good results.

excellent. Just basic maintence type since AHP already got me all squared away with the important items. Thanks again.

I've been lagging on getting something together because my Vette was involved in a collision last week (uninsured motorist with a suspended license, ugh). When I get it back, I'll be more proactive about setting something up! But that won't be for about 5-6 weeks...

I’d like to join a Corvette club at some point, just need to know which one. Some are more social, some are more hardcore, some are exclusive (invite only). I’m in Carlsbad, and just took delivery of a new to me 2016. My first Corvette!

Cheers,
Borrego

The Corvette Owners Club of San Diego is the largest and by far, the oldest Corvette club in the County. We have a wide range of activities. Check out our website at www.cocsd.com. We will have a 21-Corvette display at the San Diego International Auto Show at the convention center from Dec. 27 through the 30th. My '63 coupe will be there! We're also having a raffle for Corvette owners.

I haven't been part of a car club since I was 22 which was 20 years ago, and it wasn't a very good experience as we were all kids. I've had my eye on COCSD for a while though.
