You can go ahead and spend large for those wheels if you want. Personally I would go with Forgestar F14 or OEM C5 Z06 wheels on all four corners. Their light and strong and affordable.

More of a preference, looking for a wheel mesh design like the CCW Classics.

Saturday I was racing at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas when a sudden deluge fell from the sky and we were all on slicks. I hydroplaned and hit another car with my driver side front F14. Below is a picture of the wheel. It held air until I came in to pit for rain tires. No other damage to my car other than the bent wheel, although the other car broke suspension and dropped out of the race.I swear by F14s for racing.

Also attached is the shirt show of the start of the race. The rain suddenly came down on our second warm up lap just before the rain started. Watch it if you want to see how treacherous unscrubbed slicks are in heavy rain.
The video starts right at the beginning of the second warm up lap as the rain begins. I almost lose the car into the wall at the green flag minute 3:50 and car contact by Turn Two at 4:40

Bent F14 Forgestar wheel from car to car contact in a rain race at COTA. It still held air.

I second that for f14s, I drove over a deep pot hole and my tire still holds air even with a clearly visible dent.
