It is sad that we are losing him as a California resource. Definitely a quality shop.

Ryne is a really good guy. He was recently on a podcast that I host, the episode should be up next week and will explain a lot of what was going on. I'll make sure I link it once it goes live.

What all do you have done to yours?

He tuned my old C5Z many years back, and I was very pleased with the results. I had a simple "smog legal" build...Callaway Honker, Shaner S2 ported TB, Ceramic coated B&B shorty headers, Bassani X-pipe. He did several pulls and the results even surprised him on his "stingy" dyno. I would up with 391/376...he mentioned the B&B's made great HP, but leave a little TQ on the table that LT's would pick up.

I just completed an LS2 swap with an ASA cam, ls7 manifolds, etc. His tune is perfect and I can finally enjoy my car again!

Sounds cool...was the LS6 in need of a refresh? What did your new combo put down?

Yeah, I had poor compression in several cylinders and upon further inspection (once removed) the cylinder walls were beyond repair. We decided to trash the block (I am actually going to make a coffee table out of it) and start over. It was a junkyard short block previously, so I guess you get what you get. I had him street tune for safety and driveability. I don't much care about making numbers and as such we didn't dyno.

Gotcha. That's all that matters is that you're happy.
