Default SCCA AutoX: Fontana 2/9/19

Morning was wet runs but afternoon was dry.
Not sure why but I was on fire today. I was only 1-2 seconds behind the fastest crazy guys.

Randy, if you see this can you confirm that 49.6 was good. Did you beat your son ??

Nice lap Howard. Looked legit to me! We didn't make it into the 49's today.

Howie, you going to run the Pro Solo in early April? A bit different but a ton of fun. Took a car and 3 friends to one at Atwater a few years ago. Used up a set of brand new Kumho's on Saturday. Had to send somebody back to Sacramento to pick up another fresh set. Then completely used up that set the next day. 4 drivers in one car kept things moving, but the left/right, drag racing start and heads up competition makes it a bit different and more competitive than even the normal "Win by 0.002" autocross competition.

Also with Crows Landing Pro Solo the weekend before I imagine some of the best drivers in the country will come out for the week and bookend weekend's events.

I'm not that serious. With SCCA I only do the practice days not the race days.
