These are valid comments. On the day of show, unbeknownst to me, the registration folks will allow up to the 400 car count in, but no more than 400. I guess you can just take a chance. You must have $35.00 check or cash. This is good news. Im glad to share this info and I stand corrected.

The parking rate at Seaport Village is a bit crazy.. Unless you get validated (eat or purchase and get your ticket stamped), it can be $60+ for the day.

From their website:

Validated self-parking: $5 for the first 2 hours or part thereof; $3 every 30 minutes thereafter or part thereof. Validation with a minimum $10 purchase.

Non-validated self parking: $8 per hour or part thereof.

Please take your ticket with you and pay for parking at one of the pay by foot machines before returning to your vehicle. There are no cashiers at the exit.
There is standard lot parking closeby (2-3 blocks).. Ace parking, etc.. That will be much more reasonable.

Its cheaper to come into the show! $35.00. And you get a very cool giveaway and dash plaque. Its worth it!

Very true.. I was assuming it was a non-Corvette parking..
Don't feel like your car has to be perfect to be in the show (mine is NOT!). It's a GREAT day at a perfect location with friendly people and 400 awesome Corvettes!

Nooooooo. Your car does not need to be perfect. My 76 is a driver. I take that to shows all the time. So what. Its my car. Barn finds are popular. Rust patina is popular too. The dirtier the better. No, bring your Vette regardless of its condition. All Vettes and owners are welcome.

Don't say it! Its a rain or shine event. In 42 years, weve never been rained out. We have about 50 open spots. Come on down. Well get you in!

They are notoriously bad and predicting rain in San Diego.
Storms coming down the coast often miss us, or give us only a light spritz.
I would definitely wait until Saturday evening to make any decisions based on weather.

I agree. So many times the rain predictions are overstated. It may mist in the morning, but the afternoon will be great. I have faith and weve ordered good weather!

Going to wait until Sunday morning before I make the final call. If it's raining, I will take a pass this year.

I was just at the venue. It was perfect down there. Its supposed to drizzle. What a bummer. Weve never been rained out before. Lets skip that this year too. Gonna be a great day.

I've heard many horror stories of Vettes actually melting from the rain........... NOT!
If I drive my far-from-waterproof C1 there in the light rain, no excuses from you guys with more evolved Vettes!

I got caught two weeks ago in my C3. I was shocked when the wipers actually worked. The TTops leaked big time. Oh well, I survived! Lol. A little rain wont wreck the car.

I'll bet it was Corvette Night at El Cajon..???? I did the same thing on the same night.
My wife took video of the wipers going because I had recently rebuilt them.. It was a joyous moment!
