I'll be there with my '61.
You need to pre-register.. They no longer accept same-day drive ups.

I'm going. Have been going to this event for many years. One of the best in So. Cal. Also, bring some club members down with me from Corvettes of So. Cal.

We look forward to seeing you. We have a cap of 400 cars. About 250 are signed up. Maybe more. My wife processes the registrations every other day. Gonna be a great show. Great giveaway. Trophies. Shirts. Raffle. Food. Be there or be square!

Nice Gary. It’s always fun to caravan to the show. Drive in together and park together. I’ll be working the parking. I’m Dave. Say hi when you drive in. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Remember, there is no day of show registration. If you showed up and someone let you in, they were wrong. Register ahead of time. It’s easy! My wife process all of the registrations. You don’t want to **** her off! Lol.

This is interesting. I've gone every year without pre-registration and have been let in every year lol. Guess I'll send mine in tomorrow. Wish there was a pay to pay online instead of snail mail.

Our online thing blew up. We’ll figure it out for next year. We were bummed. The requirements changed and we couldn’t qualify. Next year.

Thanks for the info on signing up. Would be a bummer if I arrived and they didn't let me in. It's my favorite Corvette event of all!

Thinking about cruising down to this event as a spectator. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to park?

Thanks

Hopefully, they will make it to 400. If they only sell 300, they should let 100 in on the day of the show. As the event is to raise money to support the USO, it’s a shame to turn down the money if you have open tickets.

You can park anywhere at seaport village and walk over to the show. There is a large lot right next to the show but it fills up in the morning rather quickly.

And you will volunteer to work the event to administer these day-of-show purchasers?

i have done it both ways and they still have the same number of people working at the entrance regardless. Make it cash only, exact change, and you fill out your own dash card. They already have guys at the entrance asking you if you pre-registered. You then drive down to another group of folks that get your name, walk down to the table and get your show packet and bring it back to your car while you are waiting in line for the camera guy to take a pic of every car that enters. If you are not registered, they collect the fee and give you a blank card for you to fill out. Takes no more time than checking in a pre-registered car. Granted, you dont get what others would get in the show pack but that is what you get if you dont pre-register. It’s really not that complicated and if they need someone to stand at the entrance and collect money and hand out yellow dash cards from 0800 - 1000, I have no problem doing it. Just saying, it’s unfortunate to see the area not filled up but see several cars in the parking lot that could not get in because they didn’t have prior tickets. Again, not my show not my decision but it would be nice to capture those extra funds somehow.

My guess would be that half the cars there have no intention of being judged, they just want to see the show and park at the event. The last few times I didn’t even put the card on the dash to be judged.
