We're new to this Corvette Cruizing scene. We'll meet up with the SD crowd in Mission Valley Center.

Hopefully I have cleared my schedule enough to join this run. I am planning to leave Newport Beach and take the Ortega Highway (74) to the 15, and catch up at the 0.0 mile point. Anyone else taking this way, so that we might hook up?

Call me on my cell, 949-279-6921, since I won't have access to this forum after 8PM.

Great morning cruise. Sorry I could not stick around for the afternoon leg. Good to meet you all. I counted 16 C-5's. My daughter did a good job as navigator. After the morning cruise we got the dreaded seatbelt lock. I will have to take it to the dealer in the morning for the recall. The belt won't come out at all now. Oh well...

Great morning cruise! Me and Mrs MagRedSkull could not stay for the afternoon leg also. This was our first cruise. All of the Corvette people were great and made us feel very welcome. Using the FRS radios are a great way to keep informed of road conditions, turns, and to keep the group together.

What a great cruise! Good way to spend the last day of my vacation. The run up Palomar mountain was very interesting. The only thing to have made that better would be to close the road at both ends to other traffic and send us up one at a time. Well, I can dream. Nice to have met you all. Looking forward to doing it again.

Thanks Jerry. Great cruise. More terrific people. The Vette stuff gets better and better.

There were even some other C4s in this trip!

Dang it I need to check in more often. I worked in the yard that day. I would have been there in a heart beat if I had know that you guys planned a run. D@mn-it, I what ot be notified. Since I obviously can not take care of myself will someone please e-mail me the next time I fail to notice one of these things.

Jerry, it is nice to see you are still alive. I thought you might have driven your C5 to the edge of the earth (why not it seems like you have been everywhere else ).

I am posting some pictures of the Temecula cruise on my other web site.

www.1stcorvette.homestead.com

Click on the link at the bottom of my homestead page to see the pictures.

P.S. I got my seat belt recall taken care of the next day. The belts work now thanks to the good service at Paradise Chevrolet in Temecula.
