We are in the process of getting some items donated for either auctioning off or raffle tickets. If you have something that you want to contribute to the 50/50 pot bring it.
But most of all Please make every effort to attend, this young man likes cars ,in particular he loves the Corvette.

I talked with Perry at the car show this weekend - it is truely a selfless thing that he and his wife are doing and it tugs at my heart -- my wife and I are praying for young Chris and his family in their time of need -- rest assured the blue car will make an appearance if the job allows -- I hope that there is huge turnout and lots of money gets raised!!!!

Thanks for spreading the word. I know there are at least 2 big "Toy's for the kids type shows" on this weekend. What I would like to see is everyone benefit from our Hobby but truth be known toy's will come and go. This young man is holding on by a day at a time and I think we as a collective group could give him a very good Christmas on Dec. 3rd. Please tell all your friends and aquaintances in the Car hobbyist world about this Benefit. Lets pull together and do it. We have folks from Lone Star and Xtreme Corvette Clubs involved. How about someother clubs in the Metroplex are you willing to step up and commit ?
Fell free to link this thread to other forums. Lets get the message out to those who want to make a difference.

Ben, I'm a Lonestar member and we talked about it at our meeting this past sat. I will be there as will a number of other Lonestar members. Its the least we can do to help. Our prayers are with him and his family.

Well, I am not a member of any club but I think I will enter this one. Not that my car will ever have a chance of wining anything... Ever! But I should be here for it at least.
I have also changed my signature for this one.

Well...I received word tonight that Christopher Foppiano age 9 passed away from complications associated with the Brain Tumors.
His Funeral will be held in Odessa this Friday.
Just to let everyone know his Dad is going to pay for the Funeral in its entirety. Now more than ever we can step up and help his family with some of the expenses. If you would say a little prayer for the family. They sure could use it about now.

That stinks big time, I was really excited thinking about this poor guy getting to see a ton of great cars come out just for him. Its a big downer, maybe thats why the lack of replies. Prayers for his family and at least now his pain is gone.

I passed along the show information to a couple of other forums including speedwake.com, and supraforums.com. Let's all try to get as many people there as possible.
