Re: One Lap of Houston (Snowman)
Snowman, no problemo dude. Your car rules. They better be letting you call that a C5 cause I want to ride along on your C5 coattails!
Anyhoo, glad to hear you will be able to get the exhaust stuff corrected.
Later dude,
Justin

Re: One Lap of Houston (ambitin)
Looks like everyone had a really great time. I did get to drop by the street meet at Albertsons. I sat out the caravan because a friend of mine promised to bring out her 52 Buick Roadster, but then backed out on it. But you guys did a great job of taking this idea and running with it

In case anyone was interested, it was 82.4 miles from parking lot to parking lot. Snowman and I did get a little lost for a minute, so your mileage may vary.

Hey, sorry to anyone who happened to be near me when I put on my brakes on my 82. Turns out I had a sticking piston that was making the brake pad hit the rotor funny. Real bad sound, sorry to any ear drums I offended. Saw Darth Vetter looking at me funny some times. Maybe its because I was keeping up with him in my 82  Of course, nothing to do with him stuck in traffic either.

Re: One Lap of Houston (Larry82)
Actually, I need to apologize to the C4 behind me. My V1 laser detector went ape-sheeit and caused me to slam on the brakes. Talked to another V1 owner who said his laser detector kept going off too. Funny thing was, snowman was right in front of me and I could see his V1 through his backwindow and he never slammed on his brakes!
Anyways, Mr. C4 that I probably scared the sheeit out of, I apologize!

Justin

Dale...Heck we knew where we were all the time. It's just that the streets signs and exit signs were wrong! We actually got there faster than those who got off Hardy before us.
Ambitin...I didn't slam on my brakes for 2 reasons...1) I like the look of my car's butt just the way it is and 2) We weren't goin all that fast most of the time. I did hit 1xx once catching up.

I was going like 90 when the laser went off. In fact, you had just jumped on it and so I was trying to keep up. That is probably the only reason the C4 dude didn't nail me (I had probably pulled away from him a bit).
