Houston - Bikes for Kids for Xmas...
Hey Guys & Gals,
If anyone is interested in giving some underprivileged kids a brighter Christmas this year, come on out and help “Elves and More” assemble over 20,000 Bikes. It’s okay if you don’t have any experience... It’s really easy.
To volunteer and to see the available time slots go to https://secure.netministry.com/gatew...51&formid=2150
From the Elves and More Website
WHY VOLUNTEER?
2006 Christmas Program
All of Elves & More's efforts are focused on helping children get out of poverty. Although we intent to expand into new areas in the future, our principal activity this year will be the 2006 Christmas Program. Everything else we will do is designed to fund or implement that program. We believe to contribute or volunteer you will want to know what that program is all about.
Here's a glimpse into the Elves & More 2006 Christmas Program.
A Christmas unlike any you've ever seen: EXCITING!
A volunteer experience like no other: MASSIVE & PERSONAL!
A mission no one else is serving: ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOODS!
A gift much bigger than it seems: PLANTING SEEDS OF HOPE!
A plan that reaches farther than every other: 25,000 CHILDREN!
A Christmas unlike any you've ever seen: EXCITING!
Visualize 20,000 brand-new bicycles and 5,000 Treasure Boxes packed with 100,000 gifts loaded into more than 100 large trucks and delivered to 25,000 underprivileged children in entire neighborhoods, all on a surprise basis on December 23, with Santa at the front.
See and hear the 8-year old boy crying:
"I got a bike! I got a BIKE! I GOT a B-I-K-E!!!"
Watch the 6-year old girl, wrapped in a pink feather boa, with matching dress-up shoes, smiling like cat that's eaten the canary and saying "Thank You!"

Safety Car
My daughter and I helped last year and found it very rewarding. We are taking my wife with us this Saturday. Hope to see some of you there.
