I attended this shoutout for the 1st time with my wife and a friend. My friend's video did not record well enough to even
post for your viewing pleasure. My car was a 99 white Hardtop w/IL plates, best run... 11.87 @ 121.60 mph with
EMT's(100hp dry shot). I know many of people will not believe this and that is why I hope that someone out there
captured this. Many people believe that Corvettes cannot run good numbers with street tires, but I am here to prove
them wrong. I was warnned by officials to either slow it down(no safety cage) or park the car. From that point on
I ran a string of mid 12's @ 120plus mph and eventually losing on the 1st round to a car who was as quick as me with "drag
radials". My car is completely stock except for a Vortex "ram-air", B&M shifter and the above mentioned dry shot 100hp
NOS system. As you can see, it can be done; more so in Chicago than here in Dallas....don't know why!!!

Yes your car was running strong. It probably runs better up north because of the weather, cooler air and less humidity. Anyway I didn't video on Saturday but check with Craig Marcho (Marcho Polo). I believe his e-mail address is cmarcho@swbell.net. He took some video and has posted a few of them on the web. If he doesn't have it try Chris Houston (Vette92), he might have a video of it. Let me know.

We did video some that day, very little of the time trials though. It was done with VICOUS's camcorder and I have not loked at the video yet, but when I do I will look for it.

I'll have to check. I think I did video some of the time trials..... Not sure if I remember a white C5 on the tape but I'll check. I need to make a copy of the tape for Chris anyway!

Yeah!! I remembered you's guys...or ya'll. My buddy ruined the tape somehow and to make matters worse, I lost
a couple of my time slips. I just want something(hard-copy) to gauge this car as I plan to get into the motor this winter if
everything goes well.
The job is going fine...I will now become a Texan.
