if any 1 wants to hang out, come look for me (us), will be there whole weekend. look for black 2006 zo6, motorhome, trailer enclosed, beer, patron, crown, and BBQ. we have one hell of a party saturday night.

We're staying in our 48ft race trailer on site as well... we'll be pitted down by the finish line... look for the DFGD Racing stickers on the side of the trailer... We gotta keep the Corvette crew together!!!

Always good to go! If anyone is planning on entering they have a limit of 180 cars this time. Not sure how many spots are open and last time you had to be there for a 'class' in the morning to run that day. Don't know if this has changed but there were some people who were a bit mad and apparently weren't told this that arrived later.

I've been doing some contract work out of state for a while... but yes, I still make it out with the boys when I can... I do miss our meets in "Mexico"

Burning Brakes
How fast do you think I could get my plain old LT1 up to on the Texas Mile? Is it possible to hit 150mph?
Are there any other events like this in Texas? I have always wanted to get my car wide open 155+mph or whatever the stock LT1's do. A poster on here once mentioned a similar event at the air base in San Antonio where there is PLENTY of room to hit 200mph (not in my car obviously)-much longer runway. But they never gave any other details.
