Corvette Palace - Austin Tx.

I bought my '99 FRC from them in 2006 for $26,500. The price was a little over $2500 more than any other of the FRCs I could find... but the one I bought had only 17,000 miles on it and was PERFECT!
Only thing that I didnt like was that he told me my 2003 KB Cobra was only worth $20,500 and would be luck to get that for it in the end. I didnt care because I owed a lot less on the Cobra than that so I let it go for that price. A week later I seen it on a Austin import site lister for sale at $32,000! They called it a high HP SUPERCAR and gave it all kinds of credit.
Anyhoo... They treated me good though. I was kinda bothered that they wanted to check my credit before I drove the car. I have better credit than the owner most likely and he wanted to question mine? I let it pass. 20 minutes later I drove out with the car and have been happy ever since.

They have a jetstream blue with black/red interior C6 Z06 in there right now. As it's about 3 minutes to get there from work, I may just have to go in and drool on it for a few minutes one day this week.

i already drooled on it... the 2-tone red/blk seats look weird on the JSB but it accents the red calipers i guess.. there is something to said about blue and chrome, also something to be said about the price. i bought my 07 2LZ z06 with 1500 miles for $45,900

I work right by Corvette Palace and they always look closed, it is the nature of a building that doesn't "face" the street and with a parking lot that's view is obscured. Corvette Country just looks abandoned.

The place where I bought my BMW said they were opening up a higher end store there, moving that stuff from from their current, more note oriented lot on 183 west of Burnet Rd. The BHPH stuff didn't seem to mesh too well with the Ferrari and other higher dollar stuff they have beside it.

Corvette Palace is also closed, officially. I also got the snobbishness from them. He did allow me to sit in a Corvette with my g/f, but he seemed reluctant about it.
He flat told me they generally don't deal with walk-ins. His prices were always too high, but he always had a good selection (on his web site at least).
I had a better experience with Corvette Country, but they were also a bit too expensive.

good to hear, I was about to drive up to Austin last year to look at a few c5's. They acted like they didn't care about me, and were unwilling to negotiate or spend some time with me on the phone discussing their cars. I just went ahead and bought a z06 local in Houston without their crap.

Corvette Palace is no longer.
I bought my '02 C5 from William in 11/07. It was immaculate and only had 22K miles. Since then, it's been a true gem and I've been extremely pleased. The website says that the owners William and Shannon Rector have retired from the Corvette business to persue other interests. All I can say is that this couple were easy to work with, very accommodating and always there to answer questions. Their Corvettes were a sight to see. I will miss going by to view the inventory.
