Can anyone in Houston look at an 05?

It's a 2005 A4 1SB coupe with 74k miles. I'd like to know what kind of condition it's in considering its high mileage. If anyone in Houston can take a look at it I'd appreciate it greatly.

I would be glad to help, but I'm out of town.
I'll alert some folks on our end of town and see if anyone can help.

I'll try to run by there tonight. Not too far out of my way and since I just got my '09 last week, it's just the excuse needed to drive it a little farther.

I did run by the Mercedes dealership, tonight. It was just after 7 and the dealership already had the gates together. The light I had to look at it was parking lot lighting.
Visually, it's a real nice looking car. It has new or just about new BF Goodrich GForce T/A tires. Not sure what the 2005 equivalent of Crystal Red Metallic is, but that's the shade of red it is closest to being. It has a HUD. The wheels look like polished aluminum, not chrome aluminum. The seats look really nice, no cuts or tears or separation from seams. It looks almost too good. The butt portion of the drivers seat where it meets the seatback appears to have the most amount of flattened cushioning.
The Corvette logo ornament on the nose has aging wear on the fleur de lis portion.
I will bet $20 the car was bought out of state in either September or, probably, October because it has no Texas license plates and the Texas inspection sticker expires in October 2010, which means it was inspected in October 2009.
It has been very, very well detailed as it doesn't look like it has 73K miles on it, except the front Corvette logo. It doesn't look like it's anything but pure stock. I can't speak to anything mechanical, as they were trying to close.

I have the carfax report if you can pm me your email address i will send you the pdf.
I test drove the car and it drives very well with good suspension and quick engine. The engine looks good and the air filters look freshly changed, as well as the oil. The driver door takes a bit of work to open, prob just needs to be adjusted, the rear hatch opens but not with the rear button, the inside elbow pad is loose, and the hood shocks do not hold up the hood and will have to be replaced.
Outside of the car looks very good. You will have to do a bit of polishing on the inside of the wheels, but they do look fine. The carfax shows it was purchased in Texas in 2004 and all maintenance has been done by local dealers.
Looks like a good buy at $22k, and would prob be a great buy at $21k. If you don't mind a few odds and ends to attend to.
Hope that helps.
