FEB 20th ** Chili Cook off / Cerebral Palsy benefit * Houston*
There is a kid that I tailgate with at the Texans games who has cerebral palsy. Each year he trys to put on a benefit to raise money for finding a cure. This year they will be having a chilli cook off at Bubba's in Houston. I believe last year all you had to do was show up and buy a 5 dollar wrist band that would allow you to taste all the chillis, margaritas and potato salads. My wife actually won 2nd place with her potato salad and our crew won first place with chilli. We didn't fair as well in the margarita cataegory. Gary is an awesome young man who would appreciate everyones support. For those wanting to enter you can go to his website and register.

From Gary :
"The Chili Cook -Off is back at Bubba's along with the best matgaritas. Feb. 20th at 6225 Washington Ave, Houston 77077.
It is back to best chili, best potato salad and best margaritas. The new forms will be on my website by this evening. Silent auction, raffles, and tasting. I hope you all come out.
For anyone coming to the cook off please bring a t-shirt without anything on it. There will be a company out there putting on a chili cook off logo on the shirt for free."
Last year the judges for the chilli cook off included some guy from the talk radio show 710 and Eric Winston Houston Texans Right Tackle.
Really hope folks can make it out and help out this special little guy.
