Default Powder Coating (Houston, TX)

Is anyone familiar with or used Spectrum Powder Coating to do a set of wheels? If not, then who comes highly recommended for such a job?

Wheels America in Houston remachined my '94 Polished Aluminum Sawblades and we changed the Silver Dimpled Area to Gloss Black to match the Torch Red & Black Exterior and then reclearcoated. Cost me about $700 to do all 4 Wheels. Looks awesome on our C4. E-mail me at xavaire757@yahoo.com and I will send you pics.

OK. Edumucate me on this. I kind of researched this when I wanted to powder coat my race wheels. I read that on aluminum wheels, if the temp and or time of powder coating wasn't right, it could age the metal and make it brittle. It made me nervous and I spray painted them instead... they're race wheels, so If I ding them or whatever, I can touch them up if need be.
