Default [DFW]New to DFW, have three questions...

Hi, I recently moved to DFW. I have a few questions:

1. Can anyone recommend a reputable paint shop in DFW?

2. Can anyone recommend a reputable shop that polishes/chromes wheels in DFW?

3. Does TX offer "collector car" license plates(for cars 24yrs old or less) or just "antique" plates? If so, are the cars with either collector or antique plates exempt from future emissions testing?

TIA

Welcome to the forum and to Texas. Texas has Antique plates for cars over 25 years old. Someone else might be able to help you with the paint and the wheels.

Welcome to the area, please feel free to come to any of our local events :)

Paint shop, there are several, depends on where you live. What town are you in?

Rims can be hand stripped with air craft stripper and hand polished but if you want to pay someone, I had mine machined and refinished at Wheels America http://www.fixrim.com they have a DFW location.

Koko's Collision Repair in Farmers Branch (near 635 and I35 intersection).
Ask for koko.
