Coming from the last thread, I have been told that Royal Purple is really only worth it when you are pushing your car hard most of the time (i.e. HPDEs). For daily drivers, and even weekend cruisers, Mobil One makes sense financially to me. There are also a lot of other high-end oils out there, AMSOIL is another one that has come highly recommended for race applications.

Ok its time to let the cat out of the bag. I am moving away guys. I am moving to Scottsbluff, NE. I have a college buddy that owns a web design company that needs a rep to expand his business in the NE panhandle. I already have half my stuff here and will wrap the rest up in Frisco this weekend.

So, so long guys! I have enjoyed my time with you guys. I doubt I will be able to make another meet before I move completely. I am sure I will pop in the post from time to time just to keep up with everyone.

Great having you in the group! Take care and have a great time in the new job. You know Vette's don't do so good on ICE

Dave,

Today is our waitress at Twin Peaks 21st birthday. We should make it up there. I am sure she would love to see you, and you could order some quesadilldos.

I did my own UNBIASED review between ROYAL PURPLE and MOBIL1, backed by Blackstone Labs.. April 2011.. Mobil 1 had more active ingredient left after 4000 miles, than Royal Purple.. Just the Scientific facts backed by independent lab oil breakdown http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...al-purple.html
