How about a round at the cars a coffee meets? Meet for breakfast first, then invade. Can do a different one each month.

Here are some ideas that I would find fantastic:

1) Some how get us on the Formula 1 track in Austin. Even parade laps would be good....who am I kidding, parade laps would be aweful.

2) Rent a few of the 3-seater F1 cars and rotate CF members throughout the course of the weekend on the Austin F1 track.

3) A drifting contest.

4) Mod stations. This would be where you have several vettes setup with mechanics, and users can observe or get hands-on with the installation of common mods. Maybe some cams, headers, intake manifold, shifter, etc.

5) HPDE

6) Rent out a K1 Speed for some kart racing

Notice the theme.

Default Event for Houston Texas suggestion FIKSE Wheel Giveaway

How about a Corvette show/event to show our support for our nations veterans at the Michael E. DeBakey Vetrans Medical Center combining a Christmas Toy drive for their families

I like the idea of a toy run like The Big Texas Toy Run. We could get a lot more toys in a Corvette than they can on a motorcycle.

Also a meeting with all the local clubs would be great. It would make finding a club that's a good fit much easier.

As a military guy stationed at a small base in the middle of nowhere Clovis Nm, what about a big meet/race day in Lubbock Texas? They have a track there and of Course Texas Speed is right there as well. Maybe even a dyno day at Texas Speed? Gives us West side guys something to do!

Default Pole Rally

Perhaps a gentlemen's club rally.....lots here in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio......we could bring some of our car cleaning products and show the girls how to polish the pole. Wait...I think they already know how to do that. Im down for helping the ladies in this down economy. What say Ye?

How about we do a "wine tour cruise" across either East or West Texas wineries. Would probably make the wives happy as well.

Hey all, I am currently trying to put a show/get together in or around FT. Hood, My buddy has a contact with texas mobile dyno so we are trying to get that also. The whole thing with the get together is ALL donations are going to the fisher house, It is a great cause and they can always use more donations for the soldiers and there families, so its about corvettes and muscle cars and about the men and women that make it possible to do things like this! As this developes I will be posting stuff in the C4 ZR-1 forum, and I'll post up here as well.

thanks,

Contest ends tomorrow!

There should be a corvette meet before cars & coffee to get all the corvettes together. A drive out West would be great on a long weekend.

Thanks to the regional coordinators for their efforts on this project and to all who contributed to the thread. There were some really good suggestions and I hope those suggestions will serve as a catalyst to bring about greater interaction among Forum users on a local and regional basis.

Meanwhile, we’ll do a random selection to pick a winner of the custom Fikse wheels. Good luck to everybody who is eligible to win.

Cruises to breweries and wineries. Plenty of em in TX. Just rotate between the major cities each cruise.
