New owner to be... tips?
My next daily driver will be a 2002-2004 Z06 in millennium yellow. I'm looking for any tips or suggestions you may have on the corvette, or any problems specific to my area(north Texas). I've test driven enough to know I'm happy with the ride for my 95% highway 60 mile round trip commute.

Make sure it has a column lock bypass installed, especially if it's going to be your daily driver, as when they fail, you are dead in the water.
Invest in a good battery tender, CTEK makes a great one. C5's are known to kill batteries, although if you daily drive it you should be ok.
I am sure some more knowledgeable people can chime in and there are also some very good reads in the C5 tech section that can give you some invaluable insight into the C5's.
