Are you still looking?

There's a private party who works out of his home in Austin. He was recommended to me for my classic car (which I sold before having him do the work).

He did custom leather front and rear seats in my son's Chrysler Sebring last year and did a beautiful job, at a decent price. He's currently doing the stock seats in my C5 - a simple job, just high quality black leather. He should be done this weekend and I'll let you know how it turns out before I refer you to him.

Sorry, can't refer you to my guy. I stopped by when he had just one seat completed and I'm glad I was able to stop him. He replaced the jute pad and foam just fine, but the leather was totally gathered/puckered. It's very comfortable, but I was shocked at how bad it looks. He said it would smooth out when it sits in the sun this summer. I'm not interested in waiting months to see how it might turn out.

How a guy can do an incredible job on a Chrysler and such a terrible job on a Corvette is beyond me!

I am also looking to have a few custom touches done in my Vette. Anyone have direct experience with Gabriel and Son? Not too far a drive for me, in Belterra, so I may just stop down there and visit this week or next.
