New to Austin area: tire installation and body shop recs
Moved over here from the Houston area last month. I have a need for some paint work and I will be needing new tires mounted/balanced on the 19/20 Cup wheels soon. Don't care where in the Austin area, just want recommendation on reputable shops that can do good work.
Richey Collision in the Houston area is the current body shop recommendation I have. I need a spot on my front facia blended and then the whole facia cleared.

So far I have always had good luck with Discount Tire.
For body and paint work I have only heard one shop recommended by lots of other people consistently, Berli's in Pflugerville http://www.berlisbody.com/. Based on my own personal experience I would stay away from Heritage Body and Frame http://www.heritagebodyandframe.com/ and Austin Corvette http://austincorvette.com/.
I don't normally post negative comments about shops but in this case I feel it is warranted.

Thank you. I will check out that body shop next time we are headed up to the in-laws house in RR. I have had good luck with Discount on my vehicles, so not surprised to see recommends. I will talk to them and make sure I get a good feel for their personnel here.

If you're headed to RR, stop by H & R AutoBody in Leander. Owner, Darryl, has a C6.
I had the front bumper replaced on my Pewter Coupe and he blended it up the hood and fenders beautifully. Cleaned the engine and touched up a place on the back bumper at no charge.

Jeff's Auto Body on North Lamar is awesome.
Tire install is more a function of the installer than a given shop, but I've never had issues w/ DT or NTB.
