And sometimes you need to use Sandpaper.

I wet sanded one wheel... it was getting late so I just regular polished the other 3.

I need to go back and sand the other 3.
I'm working on sanding off the fine lines in the wheel that the cutting machine made when they were created.
In the wheel wells and inside spokes...
No one else notices it.... but I do...

Gives me something to do....

It's time consuming for sure! I remember i took a good 2 hours per wheel wet sanding and polishing. But at the same time its fun. I know exactly what you are talking about on the "machine lines". My wheels has them as well. If you were closer we could have shoe shine parties.

I need to do mine. What grit did you use to just clean them up? 3000??

You don't have to sand the wheel every time.
Just when your feeling bored...

Yea... 3000 is great for just cleaning them up.
It also instantly shows you any lows or highs in the aluminum... as well as scratches that may be present.

I have gone as low as 400, but not very often.

3000 is super easy to recover from too with Adam's.
Just a quick wipe and its a mirror again.
Its really neat how easy it is.

Look for the 3M wet sandpaper at O'Reilly's, or Walmart
