Default Cold day

Weather wasn't the best today. But good folks and BBQ can make up for a lot.

DFW brothers, do you have any recommendations for dealer service?

It's hard to find a service dept I trust...

I have used Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine. Warranty work only thus far. Cody is my service writer. Does pretty good with communicating while the car is there. Work seems to be competent.

Thanks. I'm getting a run around from Stonebriar so I'm looking for something else, hopefully closer than Grapevine.

My service advisor also didn't know the difference between a rear sway bar and a rear spoiler...doesn't exact inspire confidence!

I have used Stonebriar for all "routine" service since 2010. But whenever I take the car there I go back to the service bay and talk (through the open bay door) to the technician while he is doing the work. The technicians are knowledgable.

Service writers are "street to seat" people who know little about a car other than which peddle you push to make it go and stop.

Any "special" stuff done to my car is performed by Quality Motorsports (Patrick). He originally installed 100% of the power train and suspension stuff and is the PMK (person most knowledgeable) about my ride.

OK, thanks for the feedback. I'll keep QMS in mind.

Any C7 owners in DFW that have gotten the MSRC shock calibration update done? If so which dealer had a clue?
