DFW Mobile Mechanic/Tech?
Hello,
I have an automatic 2002, and I'm pretty sure my rear linkage bushing has finally crumbled apart. The car is stuck in park in my garage, and I can see little pieces of the bushing directly underneath it. According to this link, It’s Shifty Business Repairing the C5 & C6 Corvette Automatic Shift Cable (motortrend.com) , just the bushing itself can be replaced (without dropping pipes with a bit of finesse).
I am without a jack/jack stands/much spare time to work on it myself, so before I started trying to line up a tow and repair shop, I wanted to ask the community if anyone in the DFW area might know of someone that could help me out to come work on the car at my house (I'm happy to pay a fair service price). I've seen the "mobile mechanic" advertisements out there, but my guess is they might not have much experience working on a 20 year old Corvette, so I thought someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
