I got my 19/20 wheel combo on the way. So I will have my base/narrow body, black spider wheels, with almost brand new continental tires extreme contact. (Not the DWS style) The tires maybe have 2k miles on them. Mounted and balanced with tpms sensors. The wheels came from vendor on the forum Docz. Tires came from Discount tire in Moore. Thought I would see if there was any local interest before I posted them in the for sale section. I have all the paper work with the tires. I believe they have 40k mile warranty. I was thinking $800 wheels and tires. Also have the chrome gumbys that came on the car. They are in average shape. $300 dollars

I like the forum better than FB because of the greater cross section of Corvette owners and technical expertise all over the world. Then there is the search function that usually has useful information. FB is fine for short messages but for more detailed tech the Forum is much better in my opinion. I check everyday see if anyone has posted.

Melting Slicks
Long time no see, gang!
The job market in Utah is pretty awful, unless you're a lawyer, cardiac surgeon, psychiatrist, or a telemarketer, so I hoped the border to Nevada to be a defense contractor. It puts me further from my son (the only reason I went back to Utah after leaving the USAF), but I'm close enough to drive back every month or so.
Oddly enough, Nevada and Oklahoma are in the same "region" here on CF. O_o
Best thing about being here...I'm a half hour from Hot August Nights!
Here's a reminder:
I just got the carburetor back (still haven't found a shop that compares to the one I had in OKC!), but during the pre-season oil change I found the oil filter bypass valve is blown out (metal fatigue where it was peened together), so I have to wait for Paragon's expensive/slow shipping.
